Dear members and friends of IBC,
It was wonderful yesterday celebrating the Lord’s resurrection together! I sensed that we all longed to shout from the depths of our souls, “HE IS RISEN INDEED!”
As we saw in the sermon, Christ’s resurrection should make us bold about sharing our faith. After all, if the resurrected Lord is with us wherever we go, as He promised, what should we fear? There is not a situation in which we cannot count on His strengthening and guiding presence. What an encouragement! This is one of the fundamental truths that motivated the early disciples to go out into the whole world and make followers of Christ.
This is our same desire as a church. We want to be bold in proclaiming the gospel of the resurrected Christ. We want to see men and women come to faith and be trained in their walk with Him. Often we are shy about sharing our faith for fear of not knowing what to say or of not being able to answer a question adequately. We sense that we need help.
I am very happy to announce that we have invited a person of great experience in evangelism to hold two seminars this week: Wednesday, April 7 and Thursday, April 8. Both evenings will begin at 19:30 and go till 21:00. Jason Bishop preached in IBC three weeks ago, and his challenge to reach the world for Jesus Christ moved our hearts. I am certain that the two seminars he will give are going to be used of God to teach us many things that will motivate us to do what most of us deep-down really want to do: share our faith with others.
So please make these two nights a priority. I promise you that you won’t regret it. Contact us to get the Zoom link.
Please be in prayer that these two evenings will give our church a big push forward in the area of evangelism.
Yours for souls,
Pastor Dan
